José Lorenzo
CEO
Cuban born of Galician fathers, but educated in the United States, José has more than 35 years of experience in the airline industry. He has accumulated extensive knowledge while working in all areas of airline operations. He began
his career as a ticket agent for Trans Caribbean Airways in New York. After TCA’s acquisition by American, he held a number of upper-management positions in operations, administration and sales at American Airlines. Highlights of his numerous assignments include: Manager of Marketing Administration for the Southern Division in Dallas, Texas, General Manager in the Dominican Republic, Managing Director for Brazil and South America in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Managing Director for Central and South America in Miami. He also served as Vice-President of Sales and Services for Air Jamaica and consultant and General Sales Agent for Avensa/Servivensa Airways, also in Miami. In 1995, with the support of his wife and three children, José made his own mark in the industry, when he opened the doors of American Sales and
Management with 12 employees. José and his wife, Esther, live in Miami along with their three children and five grandchildren.

Joseph Lorenzo
President
Joe calls Miami home. He attended Belen Jesuit Preparatory School in Miami.
Joe received his BA at John Carroll University in Ohio and his Masters at Florida International University. Joe has spent the last 13 years in the aviation services industry. He started his career at American Airlines as an International Operations Supervisor at MIA. From American Joe spread his wings to Avensa Airlines as their Airport Manager at MIA, responsible for all airport operations in North America, including Passenger
Services, Ground Handling, and Cargo. In 1996 Joe joined his father at the helm of American Sales & Management. Joe is married and lives in Coral Gables with his wife and three children.

Gerardo Rodríguez
Vice President
Gerry is responsible for ASM‘s operations at Los Angeles, St.Louis ,JFK NY, Reagan National D.C. and Dulles International airports. All ASM airport General Manager report to Mr.Rodriguez on all aspects of the operations, from logistic and operations to billing, payroll and budgets. Prior to joining ASM, Gerry
was Assistant General Manager at Anthony Abraham Chevrolet in Miami and Cooper Oldsmobile in Coral Gables. Gerry is a graduate of Miami Dade College and of the General Motors Dealer Institute.

Benigno Márquez
Vice President
Mr. Márquez began his career in the aviation industry in 1989 at MIA. He worked for AeroPerú Airlines as a passenger service representative and then was promoted to sales representative. From 1991 to 1993 he worked for American Airlines at FIS. He was offered a job as Area Sales Manager for Avensa Airlines, which he served until 1996. In June of that year, he joined American Sales & Management and has since held the position of Finance & Administration Manager and currently Managing Director.
Mr. Márquez is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and holds a Master’s Degree in Aviation Business Administration from the same university. He is also a faculty member of Miami-Dade College School of Aviation.
